Amoeba Jewellers in Chichester have at last joined the Digital Age. We hope you enjoy browsing our website. When you want to come and see us in our shop, we are located in East Street, Chichester, on the left hand side opposite Whitby’s Camera Shop and next to Harrington’s Luggage and Handbag Shop. There is parking right outside if you are lucky enough to find an empty voucher space. Do keep an eye out for the traffic wardens though. If you need disabled parking, it is available in St. John’s Street, just around the corner.
We are a family business that has been established in the area for over 30 years, and pride ourselves on the fact that many of our customers have been with us for over 20 years.
We are stockists of a large range of jewellery, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, (including Charmlink charm bracelets and charms), rings, including engagement and wedding rings and watches (Ingersoll and Citizen among others). We have jewellery that is suitable for the younger generation, (funky glass and silver pieces) as well as classic pieces that will appeal to the more mature customer, including pearl necklaces with matching earrings and bracelets. We have a good range of diamond jewellery and other precious and semi-precious gems, including amethysts and emeralds. We also stock a wide range of modern and classic wall and carriage clocks, pens, christening presents, photo frames, mirrors, ornaments, napkin rings and jewel boxes.
We undertake many design projects including the re-setting of your old family jewellery when you want to modernise your inherited pieces, engraving, pearl re-stringing, watch servicing (including changing batteries while you do your shopping and re-strapping) steam cleaning to bring back the lustre of your older jewellery and general repairs. We have a workshop on our premises and aim to effect 80% of our repairs on our own site. This speeds up the process for customers and also helps to keep the customer’s costs down.
Finally, we like to support a couple of charities as much as we can: our current ones are the Army Benevolent Fund and our preferred local one is St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
